To everyone at Nature’s Edge:
There are not enough good words in the dictionary to express our gratitude to all of you for loving our “Mom”.
Bonnie, David, Eileen, Mike, Tim & Gwen
We can’t thank you enough and please know that I will recommend your center to anyone I hear of looking for a place for their loved one. I believe that you cared for my grandmother like she was your own and we are so thankful for all of you.
Thank you for taking Mom under your wings. It meant so much to us and she felt so much “at home” there.
Leo & Lena V.
To my “earth angels”:
All of you had some role in helping me form a “village” when my family needed one the most, and I wanted you to know that we so appreciated everything you all did. Navigating the “system” has been very challenging, and the assistance you provided helped to make this less of a nightmare. I sincerely hope you can understand what critical roles you play for families like ours. Thank you for the compassionate care and sense of humor as you all genuinely cared for Mom. She was so happy with you.
To my Nature’s Edge Family:
Thank you for the passionate and loving care that you gave to Gloria during her stay. We can think of no better time than Thanksgiving to let all of you know how grateful we are to all of you.

Dear Bob, Chip and Staff:
Thank you for taking such great care of my grandmother. Everyone was so nice every time we visited and everyone welcomed us like we were family and said hello with a smile. Thank you for all of the great pictures you took of Grandma. The thoughtfulness of the entire staff will not be forgotten…I always heard great things about the facility and all of the nice things you do for your residents.
Thanks for everything,
Lisa, Joe, Briana, Johnny, Christine & Julia
To the staff of Nature’s Edge:
What can I say to you all? For each and every one of you – what a special group you are. You have been my extended family for over 2 1/2 years. I got to know each and every one of you….and you made my visits with Mom easier. You always watched over (Mom) and made sure everything was OK….Chip, you took so many photos of her and made her wear silly hats; but most of all you made her laugh. (Mom) loved your hellos and always smiled for you and I will cherish each photo taken over the years….Bob, thank you for being there to listen and to help me with so many issues. You have a very special staff and facility. I promise to come back and say hello. Thank you, all for your help but most of all for caring. Mom is looking down on each of you and saying “thank you”.
Mary Lou, Tom and family

Dear Bob, Chip, Alice and all…
Thank you for all the help you have given me with my Mom. Your patience, professionalism and genuine concern is so appreciated…Your facility is, by far, the best I have found in all of Port Saint Lucie.

To the Owners and Staff:
As a Hospice Chaplain it is my privilege and pleasure to provide spiritual care to our patients in many assisted living facilities in Ft. Pierce and Pt. St. Lucie. It is also incumbent with my role as chaplain to reach out to the staff and residents of the facilities themselves; to encompass them within the embrace of my gifts and abilities. Because of this dynamic of facility involvement, I have been able to experience a regular visit schedule at Nature’s Edge at various times of the day throughout a given month. During these visits I have pleasantly noted that:
- the residents are provided with a variety of stimulating and community-building activities on a consistent schedule;
- the residents and staff enjoy a tangible and fulfilling sense of community; in great part because of the regular activities shared by both;
- the staff is unified as a committed, compasionate body of caregivers who receive as much as they give in terms of purpose and meaning of life;
- the owners lead their staff with respect and understanding, and this, in great part, sets the pace for the quality of care.
I commend you all for your loving investment of heart, mind and time which continues to shape and form the character and quality of the communal life at Nature’s Edge.
The Reverend David R. Francoeur, Chaplain

Dear Nature’s Edge Staff:
Many thanks to you for your kindness as you are all still in my thoughts. You took such wonderful care of my Aunt and I was so comforted that she was in your care….Bob has collected an outstanding group of people to work there. I am so glad she was with all of you when I couldn’t be.

Dear Bob and Chip,
There are volumes of reasons to say “thank you” for all you’ve done for our Mom. We never had to worry – that was priceless. On behalf of my whole family I wish to express our gratitude. She will be fine in the nursing home; but it will NEVER be like Nature’s Edge.

Dear Bob, Chip and Staff:
I and my entire family want you to know how grateful we are with the wonderful care you have given to Bill since he arrived last summer. Being blind and recently widowed – his spirits were pretty low; but between all of the cheerful activities, the joyful atmosphere of Nature’s Edge and the wonderful care provided by your staff – we soon began to hear: “Boy, how I love it here”. He mentions this every time I visit or call him. It brought tears of joy to my eyes when he told me that he wanted to stay at the facility during the Thanksgiving holiday because he truly feels that he is “home”. (He especially liked the baking activity when the residents made the pumpkin chiffon pies as Thanksgiving dessert) I cannot say thank you enough for the wonderful care he receives and for the peace of mind we have knowing that he is in such caring hands. God bless you all!

Dear Bob and/or Chip:
I am forever grateful to the entire staff of Nature’s Edge. I was so very lucky to find such a wonderful place for my father. I always knew he was taken care of and that made my life easier. There aren’t enough words to describe the high esteem I hold for the entire staff. The decision to place a parent into a facility is never easy; but Nature’s Edge was a blessing for both me and Dad. At the end of his life you provided privacy, dignity, care and love. My words will never be enough and you and the staff will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for all you have done for Dad over the years.
To all of the staff:
Words cannot adequately express how grateful my son and I were to have you care for my husband during our home renovation. Everyone was so kind, efficient and caring toward us and we are so grateful to have found you. You have a great facility and I tell everyone about you. God bless you all!
Mary, Ed & Jason
Dear Bob and Chip:
I want everyone to know how much I appreciate the love and care you gave to Mom the last year and a half. She was so well cared for and you have made a wonderful home for all of your residents. No family could ask for more. We could not have chosen a better “second family” for Mom.
I appreciate the monthly newsletter as it gives me topics to discuss with Mom; but I cannot express how much I appreciate the monthly photos that you post on the website. Being so far away is never easy; but when I see the pictures of Mom smiling, dancing and having fun…well, it makes me realize I made the right choice. She always tells me she “does nothing all day” and when I mention that I saw her making pies in her blue sweater or playing cards in her green floral top – she changes her story and tells me about the fun afternoon. I download every picture you send and I will be forever grateful to have them when she is no longer with us. I KNOW the residents get “positive vibes” while they are under your care and my family is thankful for all you do for Mom.
It seems like being nice comes naturally for you and all of your employees. I offer many thanks for the care you gave to Nelson during his stay with you. He was not always kind; but you went beyond what you had to do and I am grateful.
Many places “talk the talk” and promise the moon. Nature’s Edge provided exactly what you promised me and I never had to worry about coming up with extra money every month for “extra charges” like (facility name deleted). Thank you for giving me peace of mind and, most importantly, time for myself because I know Mary is in a good place. God bless you and your staff.
